A tactical space game where players fly hand-controlled ships, duel in open space, raid defended objectives, and push for control of contested territory.

  • Server-authoritative PvP combat with projectiles, missiles, energy, and collision.
  • Planet raids and defended objectives planned around readable capture pressure.
  • Territory, resources, and structures intended to make supply routes worth fighting over.

Roadmap

From sharp ship combat to a contested galaxy

Portfall starts with a reliable combat and persistence foundation, then grows through practical chunks that add more space to explore, fight over, and defend.

  • Skill-first combat Inertia driven movement, projectile timing, dodgeable guided missiles, star gravity, and readable dense-fight presentation.
  • Connected star wells Star maps, portal traversal, route unlocks, and a growing galaxy.
  • Planet raids Planets can be claimed, defended, captured.
  • Territory pressure Strategic structures, resource-fed defenses, noob protection, and endgame pressure valves for worlds that stay active.
  • Living supply lines Economy and logistics systems aimed at making escorting, raiding, blockade, and supply denial matter.
  • Wider access Once we've got a good baseline we'll open up a steam playtest.
